Privacy policy.

How we collect, use and protect information about brands, partners and visitors to envelope.agency. Written in plain English. If anything's unclear, email privacy@envelope.agency.

01 Who we are

Envelope Agency Ltd ("Envelope", "we") is the data controller for this website and platform. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 14218034. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. ICO registration: ZB712089.

02 What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to match brands with partners and to run the business. In practice, this means:

03 How we use it

Three purposes, nothing else:

  1. To match your brief to suitable partners, or to evaluate your partner application.
  2. To run the engagement once a match is made: contracts, invoicing, status updates.
  3. To send you occasional updates about the platform and journal (only if you've opted in, one click to unsubscribe).

04 Who we share it with

Shortlisted partners receive the parts of your brief they need to quote accurately: scope, timing, budget range. We never share your details with partners you haven't been introduced to. Our sub-processors are limited to hosting (Vercel), email (Fastmail, Postmark), analytics (Plausible), and accounting (Xero). Full list on request.

05 How long we keep it

Brief submissions: 24 months from last activity. Partner applications: duration of the partnership plus 24 months. Financial records: 7 years, as required by HMRC. Journal signups: until you unsubscribe.

06 Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to direct marketing. Email privacy@envelope.agency and we'll respond within 30 days, usually within one working week.

07 Cookies

We use one essential cookie to remember your consent choice, and a first-party analytics cookie via Plausible. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers. You can reject analytics at any time from the footer.

08 International transfers

Data is hosted in the EU (Vercel, Frankfurt region). Our email and accounting providers may process data in the UK, EU and US under Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK–US Data Bridge.
